Sorry I couldnt find the current my ride thread so I have started my own, the moderator might have to move it for me please. I own a 2007 Brutale 910R which I am looking at trading in on the Monster 1100S. The Harley is a 09 Night Train and is still at the dealer awaiting about $7,000 worth of mods before I pick it up in January....... enjoy.

I guess this is just me but I wouldn't trade the MV in for the Ducati, unless you are getting some money in addition to the Monster. That might end up being a downgrade. That 910R is a lovely bike, and competent. Probably more competent than a Monster 1100S. Also more exotic. You just don't see one every day. I see Monsters all the time. If you don't mind me making a suggestion try actually riding the 1100S before you decide to trade. It will be a first-year bike, and considering the troubles with the 696 I'd expect some with the 1100S. Yep I'd sooner have your MV than a Monster 1100S but that's just me.

but otherwise, if you want the monster, get the monster! 

MV is meh. if I want proper italian super-exotica, I'd get a bimota.

to prep for resale take off the bikini fairing, most people don't like them. put stock mirrors back on.
