Thats about right 100-115 before the fuel light. I didn't even consider fuel consumption when I bought my S4R, that not why I got it.

Correct, I ride one of three 100mile 'circuits' of english back roads close to my home, WFO where ever possible. been doing the same for more than 40 years now. Never been to McDonalds or Starbucks, and I avoid any 'highways' they are boring and square off my tires.
