Why the Monster 1100 surely rocks.

WARNING: LATE-NIGHT RAMBLINGS.  100% OPINION WITH LITTLE TO BACK IT UP:

The Hypermotard truck came by So.Cal. a few months ago.  We rode Trabuco Canyon.  While I can't warm to the looks of the bike, I found the 1100 motor in it to ROCK.  Not as strong as a 4-valve Monster, but nonetheless it was wonderful.  I found myself thinking I could be happy with the bike if it wasn't so hard on the eyes.

Although the hot Monsters (S4Rs the best, of course) are wonderful things, and I consider myself a speed demon, there was a special something about the Hypermotard, and its wonderful motor, that I still miss.  I don't doubt that the new 1100 would satisfy all but the pickiest power-mongers.  If the Fighter is as ugly as I fear it will be, the Monster 1100 will be going to the top of my list of new naked bikes.

Not too fond of any bike the 1100 is in but that engine rocks!
