What's the best rear stand for a 696?

I haven't been able to find any discussion here or anywhere else specifically regarding paddock stands for the 696. Regular chain maintenance is quickly becoming a real chore without one.

First of all, would Pit Bull's standard rear stand even work with this swingarm? Should I just wait for something 696-specific? I understand that Motovation sells some rear axle sliders that supposedly work as bobbins, but I'm not even sure what the best stand would be for use with those.

What have you guys used?

Thanks in advance!

I have the Pit Bull Rear Standard and that works perfectly with the M696. I also purchased the Motovation rear axle and it makes it faster to lift the bike.

Would you say it's practical to use without the axle sliders? or is that just scary to be doing regularly?

I suppose I'm worried about buying the sliders and then scratching the HDPE with the metal stand... (I'm that vain! [roll])

The pit-bull stand that supports under the swing arm works great. You won't find a better stand for the money anywhere.

I have the Pitbull forward handle rear stand. They are much easier to use compare to the regular rear stand. With the forward handle I can balance the bike by holding the left hand grip. With the regular stand you need to balance the bike by the tail where you have less leverage as you reach back to push down on the stand to lift your bike up.

With this stand you interchange the plate to make it a standard as well. The standard plate is an option

does the rear stand scratch your rear axle sliders?

No, not at all. Plus, the groove on the sliders fits the spool plates perfectly.
Sorry for the long reply. I was out of town.  [drink]

I told my fiancée that I wanted that and blinker fluid for Christmas. She asked me if I was only serious about the blinker fluid, or serious about both. God bless her. [laugh]
