Wow...

your post was hard to read.

It could be a carb slide not lifting properly...

It could be a bunch of other things also.

The quality of the response is proportional to the quality of your question ???

At least use the spell chexer [cheeky]

Hi, I just got a 2000 750 monster dark and it was working well.

So one day i turned it on and it didn't want to start, took a lot of attempts.  Then I rode it about 2 miles.  On my way back the idle started to slow down until it shut down (stalled).

Then I opened the tank and started the bike again and looked at the carbs.  Without revving one of them seems to work and the other one does not.
When I revved, it seemed to work and a lot of black smoke came out like it was flooded, but not when it was just idling.

I started riding again and it happened again after a few yards.  It did that until my battery ran out.

I looked into the exhaust manifold where the lower piston is and it had gasoline mixed with oil, like it was draining just a little.

Then I opened the carbs and they seemed fine, the cam belt looked good, and I checked the spark plugs and they were fine.

So what could it be or what do I need to check?  Please help!

Also I would like to know where can I get carb parts to rebuild them now that I opened them.  I have been searching the internet but haven't found anything.
Thank you!!!

So, where are you from, chirren?  This could help, since we might have an idea what help is available to you or a local may see your post and help.  I'll give a try at diagnosis based on your post and msincredible's translation.

I would suspect either of three problems:
   Carburetor float circuit
   Sticking carburetor slide(s)
   Leaking fuel pump diaphragm

If gasoline is still flowing through the carburetors with the engine not running you have a problem with the float or needle and seat.

You should be able to check the slides by removing the air filter and moving them manually.  While there a little carburetor cleaner wouldn't hurt.

Pull the vacuum hose off the fuel pump (the six sided object between the cylinders).  If there is gasoline in that line the fuel pump diaphragm is bad.

Ducati does not sell carburetor kits, only individual parts.  A Yamaha dealer might be able to help you since the Yamaha TDMs used the same carburetors.  These folks may be of help with parts also   http://www.sudco.com/mikuni.html

This parts catalogue may help you too.   http://www.ducati.com/en/bikes/service/parts/2000.jhtml?family=parts

hi guys.
I was reading at your anwers thank u mstranslation u did a beautifull job.

My english is not that great cause is my second languaje im from mexico and i live in tucson arizona, i guess i should have to use the spell check feauture.

But anyways this is my first ducati and just bought it 10 days ago its sad that is broken but i love it and i started to work in the problem.

I opened the carburetors diafragma looks good, so im going to rebuild the carbs ( just gaskets and seals) i dont know how a bad nidle looks like if u guys can help me with that.

But i will clean them up n see how they work or if one of u guys can help me with that.

Today i went to the ducati store called renassense and bought some parts.

I asked the guy if i could work for him for free so i can learn more about motocicle mechanics, he said no! i could not believe someone can refuse free help jajaja i was dissapointed.

So if one of u guys leave in tucson and would like free work for motorcicles im here jejejej, im very passionate about motorcicles and im willin to do anything to learn!!

Other thing i would like to know how can i get the float level rite of the carbs, and if an individual aftermarket k&n filters affect the carb performance if placed on the carbs instead the black box and all tha housing. i will let u guys know if i could fix it thank u!!!

Welcome to the US.  If you have not done so already, introduce yourself here:

Look at the needle jets and see if they are oval.  If in doubt, replace them.  Some will say once you have the carbs apart replace them.  I wouldn't disagree with them.  If you go open airbox or pod filters you will get a slight increase in performance and increase in intake noise you may or may not like.  You will also need to rejet.  I would first worry about getting the bike to run correctly.  Floats should be set at 14mm.

I'll update this later at a convenient time Thank you for tuning in.....
