Checked with Houston today as he was passing out flyers. It's next Sunday from 10 to 3 PM with judging starting at noon. No reason to show before 11 AM IMO and last year it was winding down after ~ 2:30. Lots of riders I know came and went. All kinds of bikes. Not as crowded as a big day at Poe's, but lots of shade. It's on 711. I came home that way today.

The rain date for this event is now next Sunday, 6/2/13, same times as before. I'll probably roll in ~ 11 AM. Pass the word!

Reminder! Bikes-in-the-Bottom at Poe's is next Sunday, 6/8. Current forecast is a go..., but in this air mass... If it's clear, I'll be there for my Bloody Mary!

I was gonna ride in but the wife was hurting from a ride yesterday.   I'm at 821 almost every week.  Good place to meetup/hang.

Red M1100S at Bikes-in-the-Bottom in front of Poe's Pub this AM. Anyone here? Was there for two hours but never saw the owner with the bike.

Crap, I completely forgot about Bikes in the Bottom yesterday.  I did take the bike out on some of my fav roads WEST of richmond.  A zig zag route between Genato and Hull St.  Lots of twisty and next to no traffic.

You need a calendar on the fridge or pantry door with each 2nd Sunday marked.  No rain dates unfortunately.

My son knows those roads you mentioned but was in Germany this weekend. He always goes to B-in-the-B and takes his LT when it's cold. I usually take the T-100 over there because those forks are valved for Richmond potholes... 

No idea what happened to Eugene and Christian. Certainly no weather issues yesterday!

How did I never know about C&CR?  Oh well, I'll have to check it out one week.  This weekend the wife will have her wisdom teeth out so I'm Mr Nurse. 

I've been meaning to stop at Four Seasons.  My usual stop in Powatan is the little cafe called Erin's Village Eatery https://plus.google.com/109096681029203889591/about?rfmt=s&hl=en&gl=us which is usually followed up by a slice of Buttermilk Pie at the County Seat.

Since I'm not getting any notifications from the DMF for the past two weeks, not sure anyone will see this..., BUT..., Bikes in the Bottom at Poe's Pub in Richmond is this Sunday 4/13 between ~ 8 AM and 10:30 AM. The weather looks great at ths point and the April informal gathering is usually the best-attended all year. If my right hip is OK, I'll be there for my Bloody Mary and no doubt my son will show up on the Paul Smart he bought or his K1100LT.

So..., if you're local and happen to read this..., don't miss it!

Another DMF renegade was there yesterday with his wife, he on a new EVO limited edition and his wife on an Aprilia. Gave him a flyer for Houston Smith's bike show on Rt. 711 which is on for June 1st, 10 AM - 3 PM. Can't for the life of me recall his DMF handle or name, (Halfsheimers).
