make sure the chain is not too tight or the clutch not disengaging fully.

thanks i know how to check the chain but wath about the clutch [thumbsup]

With the wet clutch you'll get a pronounced *thunk when going into 1st from N.  Since the wet clutch transfers a tiny bit of power to the rear wheel, even when the plate stack is separated.  As a result, you'll get a little thuk in the drive line.
-Throttle's on the right, so are the brakes.  Good luck.

To see if the clutch is fully disengaging go in and out of neutral with the bike running at a stand still . It you have a hard time getting neutral then you may have air in your clutch hydraulics ,or as  YUU said it may be oil sticking the clutch pack together.

chirrin

so that means on a wet clutch is normal to hear the tunk" sound?

some times . If the clutch is not disengaged then the dogs will catch up with each other and engage harshly.
