i am out i go watch the game every year with about 10 high school coaches i know. it's cool to watch football with a coach because they see stuff the average fan don't.

This is true...I used to get a kick out of one of my coaches. He'd line us up, then he'd get down in stance and tell us to hit him as hard as we could. I told him one time 'coach I don't want to hurt you'. In a pissy retort he said to, and I did put him on his ass...at 16. He had better respect for me till school was out.

Did you say you needed judges? I'm not working or cooking so I guess I could help out if you insist.
Nah, can I come if I make and bring some of the worlds best Guacamole?

Steve, since there is no beer foul for bringing guak and judgeing I'd say your in as theÃ,  first chili judge. Go to the CASI site and read the requirments ok? Tanks a mellon for offering!

Going to check out the requirements right now.
Ok, I looked. What am I getting myself into? Sheesh!

How many people are you looking at having?
How "formal" do you want this competition?

I just had a quick look at the CASI site.

There is one rule that is a bit strange, whilst I agree with it I do not understand why it needs to be mentioned.

G. PYROTECHNICS - No chili contestant may discharge firearms or use any pyrotechnics or explosives at a chili
cookoff. Contestants discharging firearms and/or using explosives or other pyrotechnics will be disqualified
from the chili cookoff.

And it does not say judges can't....
