I only see matt black  ;D

It´s in Hawaii.. anyone from here?

It's not any of the regular group. That bike is down on the Big Island. We all laugh at him. BTW, the 24K is the lowered price. How's that?
No modification goes unpunished. Memento mori.  Good people drink good beer.  Things happen pretty fast at high speeds.

It's all up to your will level, your thrill level and your skill level.  Everything else is just fluff.

yep, that ad's been floatin' around for a good while  [laugh]

iirc, he said he's got two sets of tins?

there was going to be something humorous here, but, unfortunately, i was in charge of the typing, and this is all i could come up with.

Yeah, that's been on Craigslist for a while.  I am surprised that it hasn't sold!   [roll]  [roll]  [roll]
Ahh... but the servant waits, while the master baits.

Bradah, we're in the middle of dakine...the pacific ocean......... ;D
shipping just to SF is around $1300. You can't see and ride the bike in person.
Not many guys here in the market for a $24000 bike. Harleys reign supreme lamely here...
I know of maybe 3 other guys that have Ducatis on island.
Only factory service is in Honolulu.......
LOTS of people have lost jobs here and many are moving to mainland because of it.

on the other hand......maybe it's not a good deal/bike.

I doubt that ad is even legit.  Unrealistic pricing and elementary mistakes (like calling a black S4Rs a Tricolore) are sure signs of scammers.

He said in his ad, all the original plastics are in storage.

It might be painted or different plastics (crashed?). The frame and wheels are gold like the tricolore. Looks like it also has rizoma grips, rizoma rearsets, rizoma reservoirs, rizoma sprocket cover, zard exhaust... Not worth 24k though

Correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't the only '08 S4Rs a tricolore?

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

He also said it's #39 of 400.

Still..a nice bike..no?

Yes, no argument there.

Ducati Bev Hills had, and possibly still has, the S4Rs that was used in a Christina Agulara video, originally a tricolore, now matte black, includes the original tank & cowl, if I remember right, CF Termi's, all at original MSRP.

So let me make sure I have this right.

Step 1. Buy a new S4RS

Step 2. Bolt on a few mods like exhaust, rearsets, clutch cover, reservoirs, grips, and barend mirrors.

Step 3. List it for sale for $10K MORE than I paid for it and get laughed at continuously.

Does that sound about right?
