Not a black friday deal since I'm in Canada but I just picked up a Dainese Ducati leather jacket that was 40% off since it was last years model.  I was pretty happy about that.

Well, basically I think this whole black friday thing, and holiday shopping in general has gotten completely out of hand.  It's totally make the beast with two backsed up that a holiday should dominate huge parts of the economy.  Now I spend as little as possible during the season, and consciously do not spend any money at all on black friday.

Not to mention all the killings that occured.....

people being trampled and killed at walmarts, shootings at toys R US.

Good lord, all to save a few dollars.

Yup people are pathetic, and the retailers feed the fire.
I too refuse to shop on the Friday after Thanksgiving - except online of course.
In fact, I put up 2 new ceilings fans thursday that apparently take the smaller base bulb, and I still refused to go shopping Friday, preferring instead to use the hallway light rather than give in

Yep, me either. I wouldn't go shopping the day after Thanksgiving or to Walmart anytime even if you held a big loaded gun to my head. 

So I gave my daughter my ATM card and she went.  What the hell was I thinking.

Unless I missed it, the amazon info doesn't indicate if it's new or refurbished ?
Also, fyi, costco.com is selling the Zumo 450 for a similar price at $349.99 (shipping/handling included) + local tax.

I'm currently not in the market for a new moto gps since I have a Garmin Streetpilot 2820 that suites me fine.
