Looks like Massimo Tamburini is looking to retire and pursue interests outside motorcycling. Good luck to him.  [thumbsup]

Almost seems like he didn't want to work for Willy G... :-\

Good luck to him.

Perhaps he's been watching HD's stock prices, and decided to get off the ship.

He's got a lot of years in, so I wouldn't be surprised if he was just unwilling to deal with any management changes. It'll be interesting to see what he does next. He's designed some fantastic 2-wheeled machinery.

There was a falling out between Tamburini and Claudio Castiglioni when HD bought MV.  In the interview I read, Tamburini stated that Castiglioni blamed many of MV Agustas financial problems on him.  Maybe Tamburini and Castiglioni never made up.

As a former MV owner, I was really suprised by their public bashing of each other. Many MV owners are not Castiglioni fans. I feel that it was fitting that he named the F2CC after himself  [laugh]

I thought it was arrogant to name the F2CC after himself.  He could do whatever he wanted since he ran the company, but it wasn't something that I thought was normal.
