Looks like they ban everyone who is from the old crew pouring poison in their wine.
Just that the wine is sour by default.

I got banned for a little audiovisual expression  [evil]

That was a really FUNNY video!!  Watched it and shown it several times.  They liked it over at the RSWarrior forum, got a laugh from it.

What some of you guys don't seem to understand is that some of those advertisers over on the DML signed a contract and are in it for the period of their contract.  By you telling those advertisers that you will be avoiding them wont make any friends, or attract them to advertise here after their contracts expire.

Why would you want to become an advertiser here if our members are as hostile as the current members of TOB?

Food for thought.

T

True.

A better approach would be to let the advertisers know that they are being represented poorly on the VS DML.  Their ads are displayed in an annoying fashion, like the stupid ads that walk across the screen on some TV channels (I noticed some channels have stopped this after complaints from viewers).  Let them know they are advertising on a site that is hostile to its own members.

I still think we should all chip in a buy some ad banner pace on the DML and put up a link to the DMF.  After all they allow links to any site that pays them.

The best approach IMO?  Ignore the DML.  I have purchased stuff from some DML vendors - like Chris at CA Cycleworks - and will do so in future.  I'm not interested in boycotting good vendors simply because they advertise on DML.  That's ridiculous.

There has been a divorce.  Let's move on . . . .

Not banned, just can't log in, and don't care enough to find out why.
