i'm getting a battery tender, so someone that has routed teh part that attaches to the battery for a quick connect, can you take a picture and post or email it to me on how and where you routed the cord so that it is both inconspicuous and easy to reach.

thanks.  i know that some people put it near the gas tank or near the rear brake cylinder, but how do you route it, thanks.

I've routed three of them, on a Monster, on an ST2, and on an 888, all of which have similar frames.  I always have the connector come out on the right side near the rear engine bolt, behind the rear cylinder and away from the exhaust pipe.  It's handy there and you can push it behind the frame tube when not in use.

I asked a similar question about this a little while ago and there were a couple pics posted. Lemme see if I can find it since I don't have a camera to show you how I did mine.

No pics but some recommendations in routing in text.

I just ran the cabling along the right side of the battery (right side if you're sitting on the bike) and tucked the fuse holder down in a little gap I found.  As far as the end of the lead is concerned.  I just let it sit under the seat near the breather box.  I dont' mind taking off my seat to plug in the tender.

You couldn't do worse than me: I bundled mine up beside the battery and had to lift the tank and prop it every time I wanted to put it on the charger.  (Can you believe I can hold down a full-time job?  How do I do it?)

I had it down to Ducati Seattle for a service in November.  When I brought it home I found that the tech had threaded it behind the frame exiting at the rear cylinder, just like the first reply says.  Prob the best place.  you just tuck it behind the frame while riding and pull out the tail for charging.

Once I saw it placed that way it seemed obvious for it to be there.
