Top Triple R&R

I want to replace my M750 top triple with one that will accept a 1 1/8" handlebar.

Does anyone know what later model monster triples will fit ?

What is involved in Removing and replacing the top triple with minimal impact on the front forks etc. ?

I would think the S*R triples would work for you as long as the OD of your fork at the top measures 50mm.


Removal is easy. Once everything is out of the way you can loosen the 3 clamping screws (1 each for for the forks and 1 center) and it should slide up and off.
