Hi Guys and gals 

I'm the proud new owner of a Monster 696. I've been lurking here for about a month or so and have learned so much about my new bike.

I started right off the bat by taking the MSF course (sense this is my first bike). Then, placed my order for a red 696 and the Termi exhaust system. About a week after she arrived, I purchased the Comp Werkes fender eliminator kit, some Pazzo shorty levers and red wheel tape kit. I also purchased an AeroStich Darien two piece suit (which is amazing), an Olympia Airglide jacket (for warmer weather) and an Aria helmet.

I never knew how much of a positive affect being a bike owner would have on my life. I'm already dreaming of a good sport touring bike for long dinstance hauls.

You guys have been a wealth of information for me and I thank you.

Check out the DFWM section of this board. We are rather active  We are always doing group rides and dinners. You should join us  There are several other 696's in the group. We are literally spread from one end of the metro to the other.
