Vibration in handlebars after Pazzo lever install?

I just installed a set of Pazzo shorty levers on my 696 and have noticed a terrible vibration at cruise. Seems to affect me at all rpm's. 

It's so bad that after 30 minutes I have to pull over and give my hands a break. I haven't had a problem over the past few days driving to work (~20min. ride), just today while I was out for an extended cruise.

I also had a weird incident following one of my rest, where the clutch appeared to be slipping real bad for a few minutes. Then it just went away. For the record, I have right at 1300 miles one her.

I've double checked the adjuster on the clutch lever and the best I can tell, I have it adjusted just like the stock levers were.

I'm no expert, but I imagine you could have made an error with the install/adjustments causing the clutch to be a tiny bit "pulled" all the time. It would cause the clutch to slip and get overheated - hence the after 30 min vibration plus slipping after a break.

Others will probably know more about this. Me, I'm just trying to help you think

Putting on an aftermarket piece by yourself might void the warranty, but if the bike doesn't have the Pazzos on if/when you take it in, maybe you get some warranty help after all? Just sayin'

I have a strong feeling the vibration is coincidence, but the slipping might be your free play adjustment.  You want 1-1.5mm free play.  The adjustment is accomplished by turning the screw in the lever that contacts the master cylinder push rod

You guys were right, it was just in the adjustment.

Took it by the dealer today and confirmed this to be the issue. They also think the vibration was due to a slight clutch chatter.

By the way, I love my dealer. The service manager and a tech came right out, checked the adjustments and then took the bike from me for the day to verify that everything was OK.

Best of all..... no damage and no charge!!!
