Hey NYMMC peeps!

Myself and a few friends are heading down to NYC to the IMS show at the Javits. We'll be spending Saturday at the show and then heading out for dinner and drinks after if any of you guys want to come along.

We usually do this every year and meet up with IndustrialGrrrl and Cromo. I'll have a better idea where we are going for dinner as we get closer to the show date.

Shoot me a pm if you would like to join us as there is 7 of us going already and if there are going to be more it may be a good idea to get a reservation and a head count would be nice.

I would guess we'll be arriving at the show around 10-10:30ish. We're leaving Mass at 6 am and we'll stop for breakfast on the way. Once in NY we need to check in at the hotel and then head over to the show.

As long as we don't see anyone else do a face plant on the way to dinner we should all be good. And speaking of which, I have NO IDEA where we should eat. Good eats and inexpensive don't seem to be in the same vocabulary around those parts...

We have a suite at the New Yorker. It's just a few blocks from the Javits.

Whats the deal with MC parking there? As I remember last year there were spots behind the building where you could park but I wouldnt know because I went by foot.

People park their bikes on the sidewalk by the Crystal Palace, in other words, by the NE corner of the buildings. Usually they try to keep bikes from parking, then give up, so no guarantees.

Hey Tom,

As it turns out I'll be heading to NYC for a birthday party Saturday night. I'll be at the show late morning and will call ya. I won't be able to hang for dinner but it will be good to see everyone again.

I'll try to behave.
