Cupertino, Calif (14 January 2009) â€" Ducati North America announces today it will host a welcome bash for the Ducati Marlboro Team’s newest MotoGP rider, Nicky Hayden, on January 23rd.

The event will bring Ducatisti and Motorcycle racing enthusiasts together for a chance to welcome Ducati’s first-ever American rider to the MotoGP team. The event will be held at Southern California Ducati’s newly redesigned dealership and include a silent charity auction benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Doors open at 7:30 PM where guests will have a chance to take part in a Q&A with Nicky Hayden while bidding on items during the silent auction. Some of the highlighted auction items include:
