So.... the SPEED MotoGP coverage of this Sunday's race is actually going to air on TUESDAY?!?!   [bang]

Yes, the usual same-day coverage of MotoGP and Moto2 is being preempted by the 1st Annual NASCAR Hall of Fame induction ceremony. Just another reason I'm glad I bought a 2010 Hi-Res MotoGP.com video package.

Thanks for the heads up about the IOM, I'll look for it on the Discovery HD Theater channel.

Would love to have a copy of that race. Can you download each show?

If like last year The TT will be broadcast in August...ugh! [roll]

I can't.  When there was a choice of .WMV stream available, I used to be able to start a live feed and it would loop continuously in QuickTime until the window was closed, but it wouldn't save. Now that MotoGP.com converts all their live feeds to flash files, Flip for Mac is useless, and I haven't found a flash convertor for QT that will work. Not really a problem for a subscriber, since the full race files are posted within an hour of the races, except the grid and post-race interviews, victory circle celebrations, the podium, and a lot of incidental commentary are cut. So I get up early and watch it all.

At the current rate of exchange, a season Hi-Res video pass is about $125. The price usually drops around midseason. Highly recommended.

that must be a last minute decision on Speed's part, too late to update the FiOS program guide, because it's still not listed until Tues, as n2f said.

Still too early to get airtime info from HD Theater on the IOM races.

How can that not be a spolier on a Ducati board? Anyway, just stopped by to say that Race 1 is on at 4:00PM, Race 2 5:00 today on Speed channel. It's not in the Verizon FiOS listings. [bang]

Likewise for U-Verse. Bullshit commentary on NASCAR instead. Very disappointed. Letter written.

Some nitwit in the programming department at Speed doesn't even know what they're showing. That was a stateside Speed HD network feed, with Ralph Sheheen and Scott Russell, not the usual grainy InFront SD feed with Jonathan Green and Steve Martin in the box. Although it was refreshing not to hear Green's shrieking school girl rantings for a change (my wife could actually stand to be in the same room during a WBSK race), I missed Martin's insights. Ralph knows NASCAR and Scott knows AMA road racing, and that's about the best you could say about the Speed commentary; but what the hey, it was in HD, and you could watch the race and actually see what was happening for a change, so brilliant commentary was superfluous.
