Rotor spacers help

Thats right, I'm doing a fork swap and need a hand with the rotor spacers.  I've email'd/PM's QFactor, but he hasn't been online for awhile.  Not even sure if he is still making these, or wants to make them.

Any other leads would be greatly appriciated :)

Were in the same boat. See my sig? I have also been in contact with Q-factor, but he is not currently capable of making any spacers. I have both blueprints and solid models for said spacers. I could hassle all the local machine shops but I'd prefer to hold out for someone with experience in with this project.

TAftonomos

I "may" have someone that could do it.  I don't have any drawings, other than the one posted.

e-mail me what you have (if you don't mind)

Not sure if there is any difference in the 07 750 forks other than the fact that they lower is 53mm instead of 54...

The drawing I have is the .pdf that is posted in the tutorial section. I took that drawing and made 3d models. I have 05 06 gsxr 1000 forks, so I'm not too sure are you need rotor spacers for the 750 forks. Read this thread about him using the 320mm rotors, which I've got, and not needing spacers. What rotors are you planning on using?

Was going to use my rotors and wheel (07 S4R).

Not sure how he got away with not using rotor spacers...unless he was running a corsa narrow band rotor, which I believe has 5mm more offset.  I don't have that option, as I have the newer style rotor with 5 bolts (corsa and older style has 6).

Swift used the brembo hp 320mm, which he is selling and mentions that these are the rotors he used in the swap.

The 07 s4r is a five bolt pattern?

TAftonomos

Yup, just got an email.  The hp's are the corsa offset, which is why the spacer isn't needed (to my knowledge).

5 bolt pattern on the 07 s4r, 999, hyper, and 848/1098.

If you guys don't want to deal with spacers - ISR will make you rotors to any dimensions you specify... it will use the same 320mm rotor and floating buttons as the standard Ducati rotors, but the carrier will be a different offset... so in the future you'll just replace the rotor and buttons not the carrier!

If anyone wants to go that route I'd be glad to help.

That might be an option, depending on price.

I'm curious if I'll need a spacer at all actually.

Most people that have done this are using the 6 bolt rotors with have 10mm of spacing.  My 07 is 320mm rotor, but has the 15mm spacing like the older corse rotors.  iirc, another guy that was selling his gsxr front end used a pair of HP rotors, which have the same 15mm spacing as mine (cept 6 bolt).

All goes well, I'll need nothing.  I do have another project I'm working on, and will need a rotor spacer or carrier for that......but only one.  Think they would do a single? (it's for a vintage yamaha 2 stroke).

Guys,

Haven't been on here for a while

I'm getting some quotes to start making those again (both 5 and 6 bolts)

cheers
