Photo hosting suggestion

Most here are quite familiar with one or other of the photo hosting sites,myself I use photobucket and have linked up pics of my bike as have many others here.
My query here is from a very tech ignorant stance so shoot me down early if needed, is it feasible to have a DMF labelled 'open' account that these pics can be collated and displayed in one location without trawling through many pages of posts and comment OR possibly an account operated by mods to which pics were submitted for approval?
I see a page of many thumbnails,clickable to bigger pics, possibly just labelled with the owners name , like the ttacademy layout or similar, a wall of ducs.
The idea being to present a gallery of bikes by hosting the photos on one of the big hosting  sites without the complication or cost to bandwidth for this site.

Or is this another dream like the personal jetpacks the comics promised would be common by now
