Last Season I Installed the dual headlights on my 2000 M750.  Once I got them on and reinstalled the speedo I never got it up over 0MPH.  I wasn't lieing to the cop when I told him I didn't know how fast I was going either!!

The cable isnt snapped I took it out and tried to re-install - I am guessing reworking the cable back up to the cluster around the lights makes it just a bit to short

- If i were to go with a longer cable - does anyone know what I can go with? I obviosuly down want to go OEM - are there any "cut to length" cables that anyone has used?

- what are some other options/upgrades for me????

This post doesn't make any sense to me.  Speedometer cables to the front wheel usually have a great deal of slack.  Unless it's absolutely straight when there is no weight on the front end, you don't need a longer cable.

I would suggest that you disconnect the cable from the drive on the front wheel and properly attach the other end to the speedometer.  You can twist the cable with your fingers to see speedometer movement to make sure that it is connected properly at that end.  Then just reconnect it to your front wheel and you should be good.

There are other things that can stop it from working, but make sure it's connected properly to the speedometer first, then report back if it still doesn't work.
