McMastersCarr has a great selection of shims. Brass is easier to form and less likely that you'll scratch your forks installing it.
Of course, I'm solidly in the sbk upgrade camp.

Shushhh. Evol tempters

My forks have already been RaceTeched, otherwise I might be tempted by the SBK upgrade.  But I've already got gold valves and springs for my weight, and fully adjustable forks, since it's is the '00 900S with the bling suspesion.  Sooo... $2 worth of shims it is... $500 worth of forks and dicking around it is not

McMasters seems to only have big sheets, like if one was runnig a shop.. or I'm missing something.

But a little googling revealed a jewler who might cut brass sheet to my measurements!
