I got an email this morning from Oncycles stating that they have in stock "fresh from the factory" Cycle Cat adjustable bar kits.  I checked it out, and it looks like (in addition to kits for Japanese bikes), they've got some for the S4.

It's a start, and hopefully a sign of more to come!!

That's not new stock. It's just the residual stock they have before Cycle Cat went belly up. They also have some clutch covers, sprocket covers and some upper triple clamps.

New or not, their mail said they have been hard at work, so I'll stay positive and see if this means they'll start up production again.
Can't hurt to give them a second chance? Even if it is the fourth or fifth ;)

When I purchased my first piece from CC back in 00' I remember sending a thankyou note to I believe "Alex Ortner". If they are planning on starting production again maybe we could find a way to contact him and help him make that decision.

He was leading or on the design team - he's on here from time to time. The guy in charge at Cycle Cat is Alfred.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking them by any means. They're far better looking than anything I could possibly make.

I guess my issue with them is that I don't understand why anyone would put so much work into something that serves absolutely no purpose. Kinda like a Faberge Egg I guess.

I'm not gonna sit here and say he shouldn't have made them, b/c it's his time and energy and like Derby said he can make whatever he wants to.

But think of how many other pregnant dogin' moto parts he could've designed had he not been building lightsabers.

I don't know, maybe I'm just pissy b/c he hasn't made me a top triple for my Hyper.

Whats the point of anything then? I think there are more useless things in this world then there are useful.

Besides, light sabers are awesome. We just need to figure the lightsaber part of it out. [evil]

When we do, I want a mini-lightsaber cheese knife!

It's like I keep saying:  Those who would sacrifice a free range session for a giant beer, deserve neither free range time nor a giant beer.

See that's the thing...  it doesn't do anything.

If the lightsaber actually worked, then make the beast with two backs yeah, bring it on!   [evil]

But it doesn't.  It's just an ornate hunk of metal.
