You know, the piece that your brake calipers bolt to?

From what I understand, they're screwed on with some serious locktite. So, gently heat to loosen the locktite, and then unscrew?

I know it can't be that simple.

What am I missing? Anyone with first-hand experience?

Thanks in advance.

I can't wait until Marquez gets on his level and makes Jorge trip on his tampon string.

Nate beat me to it.  Lockite and a set screw (I think, mine have a set screw).  Sounds like it should be easy, a little heat and turn.  It ain't.

Didn't someone here recently have FHE with stripping the threads out of their lower trying to take 'em apart?
