The brake reservoir on my S4 handlebar appears to be leaking, but I have replaced reservoir and hose and clips with new ones twice this week and it still leaks is there a faulty batch of the Brembo bits ?or am I missing something here....

It isn't leaking where the fitting goes into the grommet on the master itself is it?

Also, what are you using for hose?  Most hoses will sweat if not made for brake fluid.

Hose is same type as I use on the clutch and other bikes . The grommet into the Master is not leaking , I have changed both the hose and the reservoir twice so its getting a bit strange  ....?????

i examined the reservoirs and found some plastic casting sprue on the shaft so removed it with craft knife and emery paper just in case it prevented a good seal.

I hate to be Mr. Obvious, but if it's leaking from the cap, maybe you're overfilling it?

Its definitely leaking from the top of the hose ,  its the correct size and grade and the 3rd plastic reservoir i have tried. I will go out and buy more hose tommorow , its not overfilled in fact i only half filled it .this is weird.

Sounds like you might need an actual hose clamp.

If you can't find the right hose, I'll mail you some Tygon 2075.

It seems the new Brembo reservoir spigot is smaller than 1/4 inch size so hose is loose  ...But maybe i can use some plumbers tape to make up the difference .

I don't think the tape will work.

I'd use a better clamp than the spring type.

I have Brembo MCs, and with the Tygon 2075, zip ties are sufficient.  If you want a piece of Tygon, PM me your address and I'll pop some in the mail.
