Question??? Stock M696 air filter

Hi

Haven't opened up the airbox yet but is the air filter a disposable paper type? Or is a reusable filter?

If a paper one, any thoughts on K&N or BMC??

i just ordered the BMC from everything-but-the-bike.com
the termi kit comes with the K&N i think.
