Turn signal replacement bulb??

Hey guys,

Can I get someone to clarify for me what is the turn signal replacement bulb, for our Monster. I read on some of the old thread and found that some said it is "1157 bulbs" and some says its "T4W". And also where can I get them, my left rear signal is out.

1157 is the stop/tail bulb. Directionals, assuming they are stock, um...don't remember the number, but it is a common 10 watt bulb. Just take the bulb to any auto parts store and match it up.

#97 will work...as will a #67

I just want to give an FYI for anyone who might need this information:
I fixed my blown signal indicator blub last night on my 2001 M600. My bulb was a #63 and got it at Pepboys. Its actually a 9.8v 4w.
Any way hope this help someone in the future.

Just so you know that is a 6v bulb...

but if it works I won't tell the bulb.

That bulb should be real bright for a 4 watt for a little while. Go back and exchange it for one of the numbers Dusty gave you (97 or 67).

Oh! The #63 was what I pull out, so I just replace with the same. I am not sure if those were stock or not, because I am not the original owner. Also, sorry I stand corrected on my last post. The package actually says 7v 4.4w. I did look at the #67 and #69 they were something like 13.9v and the owners manual say it uses 12v 10w; so I figured less is probably more safe than the higher ones (voltage wise), that's why I just stuck to what was already there. But if you guys thinks that #67 or #69 is a better fit than I will get them. I am not to knowledgeable on electrical stuff, so con someone explain why I should get the #67 or #69 over the #63 (just want to educate my self a little).

It's 97 or 67.

The 97 is closer to the 10w the manual recommends. That's the only reason.

Either of those bulbs will last a long time.

The reason for the 13.9 volt rating is a 12v system is actually higher in voltage when the engine is running. If you supply more voltage to a bulb than it is rated for the longevity is affected.
