I just thought you might find the tach marked with speeds & gears would be funny.  If you've ever seen a tractor's speedometer, my tach looked like that 

The reason the motor gave up was it leaked a lot of oil & I got in the really bad habit of just running in at the gas station and buying the $0.79 oil to top it up
It had a constant low supply of oil & cheap oil at that.  I take better care of my cars now ~

My car's speedo isn't that acurate either, but the odometer is dead on, which doesn't make sense to me.

I just know not to go above 65 (~80) if I was to stay ticket free.

Good day for me...had a run with the dogs, then a nice hilly bike ride to my allergist's office (about 33 miles round-trip)...much more fun than the flat route.   Now it's back to work, gotta run into the office later this afternoon.

Ack!  The wireless NIC on my laptop gave out.  I guess it's the latest in a long line of f'ed-up technology/electronics/appliances in my house.   

So here's the River summary for the day (if I'm not mistaken):
Statler's got awesome pics of a beautiful sailboat none of us could afford even if we pooled all our $
DP prefers stinkpots (I grew up on those and after being on sailboats I can't imagine why you prefer them, but okay, you're cool anyway)
DD & co ended up with a POS (sorry about that, girl!)
MrFry is gettin' by
JB is peachy and Somebastid can't figure out why
MsInc and JB both like Somebastid's abs as they were once upon a time
