And it has actually warmed up here as the day went on.

Was about 19* at noon, now 23*.

The ground was quite warm prior to the 10" of snow, so the roads are melting themselves clear.

Something weird is going on. A record Low was set in Eureka CA today. 33o

Now before you scoff keep in mind that Eureka is right on the Ocean. The Ocean usually regulates the temp. This time of the year it should be about 45 for a low. Its just cold everywhere...

It can be fun if it isn't really cold and snowy...

and you don't have to lie on your back in said cold and snowy. ;D

I was at the shop working on a little speed lathe I bought a few weeks ago.

It needed some love.

Also, there was no snow. It was 68° :D

Just went down the hill for dinner, and to check mail at home.

Surprisingly, a lot more snow at lower elevations...  Unless it was all just blown off the open areas here.

Did have some fun and exciting mail waiting for me:
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

After 50,000 miles, things like stators wear out.

Having the beer tray on the back keeps the mud off your backside.

I saw a report that the area around casa de DDGM received 17" of snow.

Was it incorrect?

It's had a few issues.  But with the miles, nothing to complain about.

When you are given a new tank for free every couple years, it helps it stay looking new. ;)

I think it may be exaggerated.  I will research and report back.
