As has been the case too many times:  owner found by being proactive.  Not THEM being proactive in finding their dogs - other people.  And when I meet them I usually regret immediately that I didn't just find a much nicer, more responsible home for them instead.

Oh well....


In other news:  finally got the dollar figures for the company who wants to bring me on board.  Not looking as lucrative as I had hoped but they were creative in trying to make something work.  Will still take a closer look and figure out if it's remotely do-able.


Almost lunch and dog walk time.  Lucky, spoiled little ankle biters of mine....    ;)

Well I let the mattock tire me out this afternoon.

I went over by where the yard tools are and the Mattock says to me "Hey Dave why don't we put in those lawn sprinklers and PVC pipe in the ground" I sad to it I dunno I'm having a nice time surfing the interwebs and stuff. And then it said "yea but you bought most of the stuff last year and if we do this now you wont have to move the hose sprinkler around so much during the summer"

So I said OK and we got one section done and running. Now I'm tired and the Mattock looks a little beat up from all the rock we dug through.
