I guess I'm just in shock still...

I do want a house here and this will allow me to afford one in about a year or so.  That's just amazing to me....

It's the first time I've said 'yes' to a job offer w/o sleeping on it first and it's the first time I sat through all the interview and was perfectly calm (b/c I'm totally confident I can do this job...).  Last thing:  This really isn't a job to me, this is more of a career.

Yup, yup...I'd say I'm in shock.

Gimme a call. I'm just cleaning/reorganizing the garage today.   [roll]   ;)

I'm happy that things are working out well for you in 'Burque.   :)

I find it disturbing that you're imagining me in a sauna, never mind the teletubbie aspect of it

Good deal Stu!  I'm really chuffed for you.

But I guess this just slims the chances of you coming to DC to work on the bikes for me...  ;)

Awesome Stu, congrats on the new job! [thumbsup] [beer]

Totally different subject: Why did the wild turkeys have to go wandering by the window riling up the whippets just as I was trying to wrap up an international conference call? [roll] [laugh]

For the love of god woman, DO NOT tell the people on the conference call you're having problems with wild turkey!

Why did the wild turkeys have to go wandering by the window?

Because they taste good, and are trying to tempt you with their deliciousness?   :-\

Or maybe because Wild Turkey causes birth defects according to the surgeon general and the colleagues do not need to know this...?

I have learned since I work VO.....Cordless remotes with mute key are the only way to go...

my dogs once got into a speakerphone argument with another call participant's dog on his speakerphone on a conference bridge...at least it was a company internal call people laughed

Unfortunately I was speaking at the time, mute key wouldn't have helped (I usually have it on mute anytime I am not talking).
