there must be something about a 999 that makes their owners go 'off'

Someone was complaining because I hadn't posted pics yet.  So there's what I've got. :P

Driving since 6am. 2hrs to go.

Yeah...

that's my buddy ducvet. I've been helping him out with the menial work lately.

If things don't pick up soon it will be time to get out the shovel and bury the thing. Having a business is not like a job Carlos. You make more money at a job. I do have the option of walking out the door any time of day. That is worth a lot to me.

So...they get to play with your money for the next two weeks? They gonna pay you interest? I'd be on the phone to that GM. ;)

Have you ridden a Tamburini bike?

A couple of years back I had a shop, it was OK, for OUR standards, $2.5k~3.5K/month for a one man shop + 1 helper, he was being paid the equivalent of $25.00/day, that's a lot here for a 'helper'.

Yes, I've riden a 998, here in Panama, the only one ... Yup, a bit tight, but, the mix of the looks and power and handling still makes me want a Tamburini more than a Terrablanche.

And yes, on Monday me boss, GM and me will be on the phone to discuss payment!

I was asking Helga's boyfriend about the Tamburini bike.

I don't think he's talking to me anymore.

Ya a friend of mine has a 748.   It's very very pretty, but the ergos were just uncomfortable for me.  I felt way the heck up on top of it.  The 999 almost feels akin to my old Monster, where I feel like I'm sitting down in it...

YMMV, of course.  Just my $0.02.   [thumbsup]

I find it disturbing that you're imagining me in a sauna, never mind the teletubbie aspect of it

I like you for more reasons than you'd think.   [beer]

Ya, my friend's 748... I mentioned it a few posts up...   :-*

She let me take her out for a ride once or twice...   [evil]

missed that

I don't find mine uncomfortable, but I must admit I haven't ridden the 999/749

The adjustability is a nice feature I guess.

Well, I like the looks and sound of the Tamburini bikes but also like the looks and sounds of the Terrablanche bikes ... Just that if I had to choose a second bike[if I had the $$$] I would be hard pressed to choose ...

The sounds that come out of the Triple-9 are just pure evil...  My monster was loud, but had a nice, deep, sonorous tone.  The 999 is not only loud, but it just sounds like it's ripping the universe apart!  [evil]

My Gina is loud or at least the neighbors say so, well some ... I love her sounds ....

one way to put it ... but the sound of a 748/996 is a mix of the red sea parting and an explosion in a mine with a hint of eagke shrieking thru the air ...
