It was good to meet you guys today, my first Ducati ride   [moto]

I'll look into my suspension setup tomorrow and try and eliminate the wicked head shake i have.

Good to see you had a good time today would have liked to be there :'(
More than likely the head shake is caused by the organic matter between the handlebars and the seat  ;D
If I wasn't who i was, I wouldn't be who I am !

Dude from the west gets "carded" at Mt Panorama

Have a good trip back to WA mate & don't forget to pass word about OzMonster.

Cool a carding to WA.
Glad you all had a good day out  [moto]

Leaving now.

... and we just got back - which makes it a pretty long day.

Weather was great ... not a drop of rain all day!

Good to meet you SG maybe next time you will be accompanied by the little Aprillia. Missed the conversation about the headshake ... my very low tech offerings: too much tyre pressure or too much right hand  [evil] ??

It was a day for the little bikes today ... 1 x 620, 3 x S2R 800s, 1 x S2R 1000 and then the S4R (first half).

... and it was nice to meet up with Aiden/Hayden (name?/sp?) from WA. He could probably show a thing or two to you well 'ard riders talking up your recent touring exploits and how you were going to make today an extra long one ... and none of you turned up  [cheeky]

Stopped off on the way home to pick up Lillie's blue slip  :) Hopefully she will be on the road by Easter  :)

... and I have just been reminded that if you didn't turn up today you missed out on a little unveiling ...

Yeah, but we all had good differing reasons, unlike Mr Sugar T (funny that there was no rain!) :P. sounds like we missed out on a good day.

That photo of the dude on the SC coming from WA, man I hope he has risers on that thing. He'd be up there with bigiain on the iron-butt stakes!
I also liked the 10L of fuel strapped to the back!

craigo

I told you all it wouldn't rain  [thumbsup] and it didn't. except for that bit along bells line for about 20Kms where we rode through a CLOUD and visibility was reduced to 25 metres.
Was good to meet Wayne (wayne800) and Glen (serious groper). Not sure what the deal was with the headshake you were talking about Groper. Betty we checked tire pressures at Lithgow and they were fine.

Guessing Competition!

Tell me what is unusual on the S2R in the front of this shot:

I actually missed your good excuse Goldie.

As for the guy on the SC ... can't say I really looked at the front (found the back more interesting), but pretty sure there were no risers - he said it was all stock except the termis. He said everything gets transferred straight to his arm and up into his shoulder ... something I think 748s can vouch for nowadays.

I had joked that he just needs to add more luggage to improve the required posture  ;D

As for the fuel ... invaluable I would say, apparently the SC achieves  [roll] similar mileage to the Monsters - not much fun for crossing the Nullarbor and the like.

That's cause I didn't share it with you  ;D Anyone who's had a pregnant partner will know what I'm talking about.
