Well.

8 riders entered.

6 riders with times from practice so far... separated by 6 seconds.

Should be a barn-burner.  [roll]

remember that the AMA DMG version of Supersport is the kiddie class; riders 16-21 yrs old only.  it's not the usual definition of Supersport... which is Daytona SportBike in DMG parlance
Like this is the racing, no?

Spidey

(Not directed at just DMG)  They *have* to come up with better names for motorcycle classes so that they don't all sound like one another -- superbike, supersport, sportbike, superstock, lock n' stock, superduke, superdick, sportdick, stockdick blah blah blah.  The only one who does it right is MotoGP.  Those three classes are easy to distinguish.

Occasionally AFM #702  My stuff:  The M1000SS, a mashed r6, Vino 125, the Blonde, some rugrats, yuppie cage, child molester van, bourbon.

the old way made perfect sense:

600 supersport
750 supersport
superbike (when it was 750cc fours and 1000cc twins).

hell, the change to supersport, superstock, superbike wasn't even that bad...

supersport, daytona sportbike, and american superbike are confusing as hell.

Here are my names for the classes.

American Superbike -->  Literbikes (or I can live with the name Superbike)
Daytona Sportbike -->     600
Pro Supersport -->         600 Jr.
MotoGT -->                   Endurance
