I'll keep it short and not trash the topic...:) I'm back and living in Santa Fe...Bike should be here by mid next month and it is better than before...The wrist...First real scar...Night coffee..Left turn from stop...red light...some lean...edge touched divider..BAM..picked the bike rode back 15 miles...crushed and broke 2/8 bones...Little Titanium fitment ???

Recommendation...Never ride without a wrist protection glove...Had one and picked the other!!!  [bang] Wrist injuries have long long recovery times!!!...Can't wait to ride...

JJ, so sorry to hear about the wrist but now you have joined all those thousand (possibly millions) of other bionic people who must get wanded at the airports.  Very cool.   [thumbsup]  Maybe they will start sending us through the x-ray scanner thingy soon too.   [laugh]  We will have to hop the train one of these days and come see ya for a brewski soon.

Also, KB and I mailed out your shirt and the one for your girlfriend to Santa Fe a couple months ago.  Did you not recieve them?  ???

Email blast sent out from PJ's:

Join us Friday November 27th from 6-8pm for a special Ducati Riders Open House. PJ's and the High Desert Hooligans will be hosting an open house with Ducati factory stunt rider Ernie Vigil. We'll have finger foods drinks and extending our Black Friday sale after hours. This is an event for all Ducati riders and enthusiasts.

Ernie Vigil worked as the stunt rider on the Jim Carey film Yes Man. During a break from shooting Ernie borrowed one of the Hypermotards and made a video of himself stunting. Within hours of posting the video on YouTube Ducati contacted Ernie. Since then he has been wowing crowds at the races, IMS shows and in competition aboard the Hyper. Ironically enough Ernie is a New Mexican and shot the film right here in Albuquerque. He'll be doing a little demonstration for us during the open house.

High Desert Hooligans are our local, official Ducati club. They will be helping us out with the open house and letting you know about their events, rides and get-togethers. Participating in the club is a great way to share your passion for Ducati. Make sure you take time to talk to them about being a part of this fun club and make the most of your Ducati experience.

We'll be having our first ever Black Friday, Employee Pricing Sale as well and are going to keep all the deals going during the open house. We're expecting a big shipment from Italy of Ducati apparel at amazing prices. We'll be sending out another email next week with details on the sale so keep your eyes peeled.

Lastly if you come out and are driving a car please park across the street as we need the parking lot for the stunt show.

Thanks and I hope to see you here, PJ

I'm with you, Hunky Punk.  I just got the email a few days ago and wished I'd known about it sooner.  I was down in the hood last weekend and I would have pushed the trip out a couple weeks to see this guy and show up for the HDH meet-up.  Great of PJ to give us some publicity.  Everyone wear your shirts now!   And take lots of pictures!   [thumbsup]

HP, I copied this to my photobucket way back when we were voting for the logo.  Here is the link to the logo vote thread.   http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=4437.msg67580#msg67580

You can copy it big to your photobucket or just try snagging it off my signature and it will already be shrunk to fit.   [thumbsup]
