Anything else you'd like to share  Hi there!  It was suggested that I come here from another community that I belong to since I am now a proud mama to a 2006 S2R.  I've always owned '70s Jap bikes (and I love them to bits!) but due to the fact that I have to street park in a not so hot neighborhood, believe it or not, the Ducati made more sense from an insurance standpoint (go figure!).

Anyway, I'm already wanting to change a few things bugging me about my new baby and this seems to be the place to ask those questions so, hello to all!

Welcome aboard Victoria, that's a sweet ride you got there, the color sceme kinda reminds me of halloween (my fav holiday), I'm diggin it!  [evil] Some cheap mods you can do right off the bat are remove the reflectors on the forks, paint the belt and sprocket covers (most go with black), welcome to the obsession.
2003 M1000Sie, Carbon fiber Akrapovic high mount full system exhaust, Speedymoto frame sliders, Power Commander, open airbox, Dyno'd and runs like a bat outta hell!

How do I get the reflectors off?  Just yank them off?

And I never thought about the halloween thing.  Lol.

Thanks!

dental floss .... I'v removed mine ..... but added reflective 3m tape; getting nervous that cage drivers coming at me form the side couldn't see the bike as well as they should ....

.... colour its "tangerine"; not pumpkin sheesh!
.... all the world is yours.

Hmm... well it's getting warmer... if it says above freezing at night five days in a row, I'll bring her home.  I guess the following Sunday I'll be outside with dental floss and mounting new sliders to the bike and possibly installing an alarm system for it myself to save on labor.

Heh... when someone said "Ducs are expensive" they were not kidding.
