[moto] Just got back from my ride home from the local Ducati dealer here in Minnesota. Had them do a spring oil and filter change and install red Rizmo bars on top of my Genmar risers. This mod along with my Wildhair lowered rider pegs has my bike just right for me. I was thinking about trading my Monster in for a Ducati GT1000 to get a more relaxed riding position. But now the Monster is perfect for me. Anyone needing a little more comfort might try these mods. 62 years old and still like to carve the curves.

Were you/dealer able to do the risers AND Rizoma bar without issues? Wires, cables, hoses?

Pictures maybe?

Everything  went together just fine. There were no issues with the cables and I can still have the little factory shield on the bike.  This combination works very well.

I'm gonna be over 50 in a couple months, and I ride an s2r1k.  I still ride a lot, and I also spend a lot of time tinkering with the bike.  With a stock setup on my bike, I do get a sore butt after about 2 hours, but I don't think that's related to age.

I haven't slowed down for health reasons yet, although I found out I don't bounce as graceful as I used to. I'm still sore from a crash a month ago.
