hello from STL

I am new to bikes.  I love to do research which is what brings me here.  I am hoping to buy a monster at the end of the year!!  It will be my first moto and I am pretty excited.  I know its not the same but I race mtn bikes now and hope some of the skill set will carry over.  I will be taking a MSF course.  Hope to also pick up another Monster for my wife.  She has experience and has owned a couple HD's in the past.

My dream monster will be blue with the white stripe.  Seems that's the hardest to find though.

I am still unsure on size, they will both be used.  I hope to do most maint myself.  I am undecided on if I like the pipes two on one side or split, I do hope it has a dry clutch.

Welcome Judd, nice to have you and your wife here.  Bicycle skills will definitely help in the riding.  Good on you for taking an MSF class too.
