New Member in Hawaii

Just bought an '09 Monster 1100 & awaiting delivery.
I've wanted a Ducati for about 12 years. Had other bikes (Yamaha, Harley, Kawasaki) and enjoyed them all.
Now, happily married and over 40 (barely!) I finally bought my Ducati.

I've been on the forum almost all day, really interesting stuff. I've already found several mods that I would like on my Monster, and I don't even have it in the garage yet.

A pilot friend flew me to Honolulu to go to the dealer. He flew back the next day and bought a Monster for himself! I think all he needed was one "listen". He hadn't even ridden one yet.

I'm really enjoying being on DMF.

Ha, ha, ha!! You're not kidding! I don't think there are very many "stock" Ducatis out there.

We've all been there. I ordered one of the very early 696's and had to wait 2 whole weeks!  Oh, the humanity.
But I'm having trouble feeling sorry for the guy in Hawaii with an M1100
