Good online apparel retail

Got a pair of size  34short pants from an online retailer.  They were poorly designed or have a manufacturing defect.  The inseam is 30" but the knee pads are as far down the inseam as with long inseam pants.  The knee pads are below the knee cap when on the bike.

Got an email stating that the knee pads can be moved with the velcro in the leg.   The velcro simply holds the pads in the pocket.

They ahve ignored my requests for a return authorization number.
