I read somewhere (probably in BIKE magazine, a terrific mag from the UK):

"By definition, a 'streetfighter' cannot be made in a factory."

I think I agree.  But then again, I have no idea what kind of street fight one would be in armed with a motorcycle.   ???

Funny, I was just thinking that I hated the name and would prefer something like the "StreetLover", the "LaneSplitter", the "CornerCarver" or even the "SBK Nekkid".  (As all good rednecks know, "naked" means "no clothing" while "nekkid" means "no clothing and up to something".

I don't know Fastwin, I like those fashions the models were wearing. They're really skin tight though. I 'd really like to slip into one of those models. The suits, er are those uh, birthday suit suits? Now that's streetfighting the redneck way, nekkid, dang all these words are just running all together now. I better go back and look at the models some more.  :P ???

What models?  All I saw was Streetfighter  ???

the tank just crushed my junk too much for my liking...not to mention not as comfy for 2up riding (though the main seat is less comfy also), not functional for a tailbag or strapping shit on your tail with a cargo net or straps.  though if you're wanting something that would be more track capable, i'm sure the streetfighter is what you want over the s4rs.  it just fails to be remotely as cool looking as the S2/4R imo.  and you could find 2 to 3 nice S2/4R or S4Rs for the price of a new streetfighter.

I need to see it and ride for sure BUT there is no way in hell it's worth $20K out the door.  Like you, I would have an S4R and some little "trash" bike that I wouldn't mind crashing on the track or following Slag & T.

I could be wrong or blasted to hell for saying this but Ducati is pricing itself out of the market and returning to the days before Texas Pacific Group saved them.  I personally have no use for traction control, many of you do because you ride a HELL OF A LOT better than I ever will but damn it's an expensive toy.

Did you not get the "Balls of Steel" DVD I sent you?  Recommended by Chuck Norris and whatnot....

Spent two days riding the M1100S/Streetfighter/848 and a few other bikes on the track....

i really like the bike seems like a 600 compared to the other brands Ducati brought to compare (from all the others  i liked the Tuono the most)

here are some photos i took
