i sent a text to everyone, no one either didn't want to or tired or whatever  [cheeky]

hey we can do duc nite whenever!!

BUT NO ONE HAS COME OUT IN FOREVER  :P

If the specifics of DucNight are being communicated by texts and cell phone communiques, that pretty much eliminates me from the roster.  I know, it serves me right, but it's a slippery slope, ya'll.  Next thing you know, I will be forced to rove the wilderness with a GPS instead of a map and internet dating will by the only way to hook up.  I gag as I am typing this.   [puke]  I can't even speed anymore without technology catching up.  I received a PHOTO violation the other day of the Ducati Dodge running down I-40 22 miles over in an damned workzone.  It was 6:15AM and I am the only vehicle on the interstate.   I mean, if you can't speed then, WHEN!!!  Has anyone else dealt with this yet?  PM me with the particulars.

I had council last night, but I was ready to rock afterwards.  Alas!  No post on where the group was.  What's all this here about only beer and bad food.  What about the times you all went go-carting and also, over to Marcus' place.  I'm up for any change of pace, however, have the consideration for us relics of the stoneage who remain cell-less.  (I do have a home phone).

Just might not have gone through to everyone.   That, or both Dustys & my phone were f'd up that day. It could happen.
Sorry we haven't been making it to D.n.  wide open spaces & new roads have been calling our names.
Pray for me Bonfy, my bike is in for its 7500 service.  I think DDGM is trying to savatage it.
I promise to make better mistakes tomorrow.

Um...really? On the interstate? That is scarey...I leave home (UNM area) for the park and ride bus off the San Antonio exit at 430am and tend to, um..not obey all the (suggested) speed postings...wonder if I have one in the mail?

Where is this at on I40?

The photos are taken from an unmarked / unmaned white van..  They sit randomly all over town.  I wish it being done so the cops could actually go catch bad guys, but, thats a whole other post.

They zapped the REDFLAG at Louisiana and I-40.  I don't know who was drving at the time.  It was temporarily stolen, then parked back in my driveway.  That is an ironclad alibi in this town.
All I know is that when I opened that envelope, I turned white and almost passed out for the same reason you mentioned.  I run that stretch every day when I get off work and usually alot more over than they got the mystery driver at.  So now I open my mailbox with serious trepidation.  Sunday I rode through that area on the Duc and I was getting passed by RV's, horse trailers, and shuttle crawlers.  I know people must've thought my bike was stuck in second gear, but all I could think of was another $159 ticket and where the hell are the bastards hiding.  Call me Sitting Duc now!  I am in panic mode about everything today, please forgive.  First DucNight being arranged via CELL!!! Now this PHOTO COP  craziness.    [bacon] [bacon] [bacon] [leo] [bang]
My question is whether I am going to pay it or not.  No points go against my license and no notification of your insurance company.  $25 more if you don't pay in 30 days.  What if you never pay?  I am going to investigate that as an option.  Don't want to look out on the driveway and see no Dodge Ducati or find it booted.  A little jail time is no big deal for me anymore.  I thought I was past that stage in my life though.  I can see getting a photo ticket for running the red lights, but for speeding??  C'monnnn!!!  BTW, I never, ever run a red light, even if it isn't a photo intersection.  That's just suicidal.

I believe they turn it over to a collections agency at some point, which is the only reason I paid my speeding ticket that I received in the mail.  BTW, TONS of fun can be had watching yourself online if you get caught by one of the cameras.  I must have re-watched myself speeding about 10 times...and I do believe I am going to frame the picture I got in the mail and hang it in the garage at some point.

Oh, definitely, it's going into a frame for the mantle!  It looks so hot blazing down the road!  Where can I go to watch the mystery speeder on line?

This is going to turn into a rant, I'm afraid.  How is it that an asshat can hit-and-run me on my bike and nothing can be done about it because the driver couldn't be identified, but yet my credit rating will be ruined if I don't pay a photo ticket on a vehicle registered to me.  You can't tell who's driving that vehicle either.  I have the car's bumper that tagged me and these fackers aren't even getting a damned ticket!  That's a ducatista pregnant dog slap!   [bang] >:(  Where's the justice?   The Hour of Rage is over...probably not...

Can I get a copy? BTW I have the web address somewhere I will find it and post it if no one beats me to it.

Soooo.... i'm sittin' here thinkin'  [evil]  What about a Duc night where we just run around town, speed through the lights moonin' ?   (DAMN ,  OUCH that would be some bad road rash if we fell) or somethin' comprable, if thats possible.  I have an extra can of photo blocker for your plates.
I promise to make better mistakes tomorrow.

bonfy

Yes, puleeze!  (on the photoblocker AND moonin' DucNight).  I am up for just going for a ride, stopping off at a bar here, a coffeehouse there, stripjoint here, copshop there, crest road here, patio there.... wherever the wind blows us.  I'll try not to get too wound up on coffee and cranberry juice if you all promise to do the same with your libations....and pizza...and let's go with thongs and t-backs.
