I'm in Ruidoso.  I can be reached at the Travelodge in Room 168 if anyone cares to make a dash down.   Me and Lance were catching some rays at the pool.     It was a sweet ride down.  Going to tool around Billy the Kid country tomorrow.  Lance wants to look for ghosts.  P.S.  I got caught up in a herd of hogs at Vaughn.  Ended up lunching with them in Carisoso.  I have pictures to prove it which I will post when I get back.

Didn't know you were a farm girl.  Did you slop the hogs?     Couldn't go anywhere today.  It was oil change day, both truck and bike. Watch out for them there farm animules.  They "hog" up the whole road and they smell bad.  Enjoy.   [moto]

Hee!  Hee!  Hee!  It was Lance that started the conversation at a gas station.  These riders were heading back to El Paso from the weekend in Red River.  Next thing you know, I get offered an escort to Carisoso, lunch on them.  I thought, well, where's the harm, I need to work on my diplomacy skills with those of the underclasses.    Suddenly, I am hemmed in, with two big old baggers in front, two in back.  I looked like a duck running for it's life, feathers fluttering and wings beating, trying to get free from these hogs milling all around me.   I decided to just go with it and ride right smack in the middle of them.  Talk about a duck out of water.   I felt it would have been rude to blow around them.  We went 70, the whole way, down 25 from my previous progress.  They asked me if they had gone fast enough for me.  I said, frankly, no.  That opened up quite a few snipes at the Ducati lady the rest of lunch.  We all parted friends.  I got pics to prove it.
