Experience with lawyers and claims court?

All,

Sadly, I am beginning the process of claims court to collect a debt in ABQ.  Anyone have experience in doing so and recommend a good lawyer?

Small claims court <$10,000; attorney may represent either party.

Did Eclipse ever pay you guys before they filed for bankruptcy?  I'm sure that fee was over $10K.
