All of the cat eliminator pipes of have seen advertised for 800 S2R's seem to utilize the original headpipe portion of the system but I have seen several pictures where the cat section has been replaced with pipes going all the way to the heads in one piece. What brand are those? Comments on pros and cons? thanks, bill

Mine came from Ducati Performance, which, if I am not mistaken, is made my Termignoni.  They ran straight from the heads back to the slip ons.

+1 on the Termis.   I think the Zards replace the stock header on the horizontal head, but use the stock piece fo rthe vertical head.

I think you will be happy with the looks.  It kind of gives a squared off visual line t the motor.  Doesn't drop down lower then the oil filter like most aftermarkets.

Nope. Zards use both stock header pipes.
Not an easy install at all :/

Where can I buy the Termignoni piece without buying a complete system? Can't find a listing anywhere, thanks.

We offer the Remus brand and their full systems go all the way to the heads. I am very impressed with the look of their L+R GP full system. That was the first time I have ever seen hi pipes on a Monster and immediately thought they looked awesome.

The S*R family of monsters definitely have created a great amount of confusion about which parts go where; expect very little compatibility between brands.
