I have called every Ducati dealership in the USA and none of them can get me a set of the 5 spoke Marchesini wheels that ducati was selling for the 696, the rear wheel was 5.5" wide and fit a 180 tire.........................I need these wheels, if you have a set and decided that you don't really want them, let me know. I will send you $$ post-haste.

4,000 seems a little steep, how 'bout you just sell me the rear for 400.

I'm sort of kidding.................sorta

Probably a silly question, BUT... have you looked at Marchesini's distributer list on their website? If wanted them really badly...say $4k worth of want...I'd call every distributer in North America.

I disagree with the whole idea that upgrading to a 5.5" rim affects handling and performance significantly. I put an ST4 wheel on my 2003 800Sie and all I noticed was how badass my bike looked after. It still handled well, and did not lower performance enough to notice.

..... slapping on a larger tire rim means......slower turn in

Those wheels look like standard 5-spoke Marchesinis, though the rear axle looks small.

Not sure of the axle sizes on 696, but....

5-spokers came OEM on S4, ST4, ST4S.
