Buying an '06 GSX-R600 - Any advice from owners out there?

Its really easy to yank it out.  Since you're buying a track bike he might already have it out.

Damn near 10 years ago, I saw an EXUP valve on an FZR1000 fill in a dip in the power curve.
This was a back-to-back test on a dyno, valve enabled/disabled.
YMMV.

That's good info.  [thumbsup]

The valve could well be controlled by a pretty sophisticated map, so part throttle stuff may be different.

Try it both ways and see how you like it, it's not an expensive experiment.  ;)

I'm sure Suzuki puts it on there for *some* reason, likely noise and emissions are high on the list.
If the race teams aren't using 'em, that's the best answer of all.
