"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

is it a secret??

I don't remember.  I know it's been a few bricks.  And I haven't cleaned the gun in many years.   :-\  Think that could be an issue?  I'll clean it soon..............

Can you say surface rust? It's not horrible but has some pitting and a lot of it was removed with some 0000 steel wool. Thankfully it's seen a MAJOR cleaning and a generous amount of oil and TLC. [thumbsup] Everything Dad owned had a nice patina, it didn't matter what it was made of. [laugh] Thank God the .22 model 94 was somehow spared and looks pretty nice, of course it is a lot newer.

My pop didn't put his stuff in the back of a truck.  he slathered 3 in 1 oil on everything and stuck it in the closet.  Most of his guns were bring-backs from WW2 and Korea, a lot of fun stuff...

If you look at the unmounted stock, you can see a cavity that holds extra shells in the stock.  Shells are held in with spring tension.
