Ducati Historical Leather Jacket

anybody have experience with this jacket ?


I need a jacket and I don't know what to get ... hmm

I have one and like it very much.  It's a beautiful fashionable jacket, but not in anyway a true riding jacket.  It is cut like a regular jacket, not a riding jacket.  There is no armor, or pockets for armor, or a back protector and the leather (horse) is quite thin.  It makes a good spring/fall weather jacket for when you are not on the bike.

I went to the shop for that one and left with the 80s non-perf retro jacket.

the historical is pretty though.

I have the jacket and wear it around town for quick rides; I have a second jacket with armour which I use most of the time.

I had one for a while .

A very nice fashion Jacket but just as others have said , not a riding Jacket .

I didn't wear mine hardly at all so I sold it .

As far as a riding Jacket goes, make sure it fits you snug and has CE Armor in the Shoulders , and Elbows.

Be sure to invest in a high quality Back Protector.

I prefer a separate one rather than one that fits inside the Jacket.

They generally are secured with a closure at the top and a Velcro belt closure at the bottom for a snug fit in case of a crash it stays put where it's suppose to.
